Here we are at 7 months pregnant in June and I’m feeling the heat. Today it was 85 degrees outside and to me it felt closer to 100. I’ve got to go all the way through the summer. This baby is September 5th. Good Lord!

I’ve been preparing my clients that they may not see me very often in August.

However, I still have to do my job and make a good living. How do you do a job that involves getting in and out of your car in the heat everyday when you are in the third trimester? Seriously, I’ll take any advise.

At least I’m not a drug rep. They have to wear suits everyday. Holy cow!

Also, new this month…intense heartburn. I’ve had heartburn throughout the pregnancy, but it’s been manageable. Now it is constant and intense. Rolaids may not cut it anymore. I go back to the dr. next week and will probably ask about something stronger.

The swelling in my feet and ankles is a daily thing, but that’s been happening since week 20, and I actually think it’s a little better now.

My belly has really popped out in the last few weeks. I definitely look like I’m in my last trimester. This doesn’t bother me. I’d rather look pregnant than “heavy” (as my mom says). My husbands belly has really popped out, too.

We got our Tummy Tub in. It’s everything I hoped it would be and I can’t wait to give it a try. We got the one with the flower-looking base. Too cute.

Our glider and ottoman came in and they are gorgeous. Most of the fabric for the baby bedding has come in. Now I’m just waiting on some sewing time with my mother-in-law who is very busy keeping our two-year-old nephew.

It’s all starting to come together and time feels like it’s moving in fast forward. All-in-all preggars life is pretty darn good, swollen feet and all.
