Baby Registry...srsly! - Evolved Mommy
I’ve got several registries going and several showers scheduled for the next couple months. However, I’ve registered for things I like and I’m not sure I’ve registered for things I actually need. Please leave a comment and let me know what your baby “Must Haves” are.
Thanks!!!

My two cents:
Stuff we loved:
A swing saved our lives more than once, and probably Monkey Boy’s because it would put him to sleep when he wouldn’t stop crying. A bouncy seat is also pretty great. We were big fans of the exersaucer. The pack and play is nice for a variety of uses. Any sort of travel spoons and such are helpful to keep in the bag.
Save your money:
The baby wipe warmer is just silly although I thought I had to have one. designer burp cloths. (I was a little out of hand) baby Einstein videos – you’ll just want to kill yourself and the kid doesn’t care. bottle warmers – just give the kid room temp bottles. it makes life so much easier.
hope that helps.
Agreeing with Kerri on the swing!!! Omg, his swing was a god-send many, many times over when he was upset/crying and just couldnt be soothed any other way. He loooved that swing, and still does. A MUST-HAVE.
Hmmm, other essentials:
-diaper genie
-if you plan to breast feed AND return to work, invest in a good, quality pump…. totally worth the money
-i got the arms-reach co-sleeper rather than a traditional bassinet, and i LOVE it. LOVE IT!!!
-bottle warmer (we use it all the time actually, and its a super fast way to heat up a bottle)
-lots and lots and lots of bibs (the thick, drool-free kind)
-make sure to get onesies and other essential clothing items in various sizes, cuz they grow soo fast, and you dont wanna have to go shopping every other week for new stuff!
Yeah, agreeing with Kerri again on the wipes warmer (lol). I dont even keep it plugged in anymore. You have to refill that resevoir with water way too often (at least 2x per week) or the wipes begin to dry out from the heat…. and i could never remember to do it. So it just became a nuisance after a while.
