Evolving into a Gardener: My Time with P. Allen Smith - Evolved Mommy
This is where I spent the last couple of days. If you don’t know who P. Allen Smith is click his name to learn more. He’s a brilliantly fabulous (and patient) garden guru and he lives in my home state. This week I was lucky enough to attend a learning event he held for 20 bloggers. Most of the other attendees have strong gardening backgrounds. I do not, but I am dying to learn how to garden efficiently and effectively so as to stay on a family budget. Mostly, I wanted to learn about vegetable gardening because we tried our first garden last year with mediocre (at best) results. However, my favorite type of gardening is flower gardening, so I really paid attention there, too. As a bonus, I learned a lot about gardening projects and resources for kids.
I can’t wait to share what I have learned. Stay posted for pictures, articles, projects and links to amazing resources!
