Meeting The Pioneer Woman - Evolved Mommy
It’s a dirty job, but somebody’s gotta do it.
Okay… that’s a lie. This is a pretty swanky job sometimes.
While I stayed in the quarantined room for the first day of the Aiming Low NonCon, Amy and other Stephanie spent the day at sessions and meeting new friends. By the end of the day we all just wanted to see our families.

Amy attempting to Facetime with her kids. We had a terrible signal, so this was her eleventy billionth attempt
The next day started with butterflies…

Neil Kramer (@Neilotchka) led us on an early morning photowalk of iPhoneography through the Lady Bird Johnson Butterfly Conservatory at Callaway Gardens.
Lovely Saturday afternoon

How could we do anything but sit on the porch? The weather in Georgia in October is perfection and Stephanie Buckley (@TheParkWife) makes for delightful company.
After working on her TV show Ree (The Pioneer Woman, duh!) flew into Georgia to be a part of the the conference, and took time to have coffee (well, she had water) with Amy, other Stephanie and me.
We talked about things that would scare fish. No, wait. That’s a line from Steel Magnolias.
We just had a great time talking and laughing until Faiqa (“NativeBorn” and “Hey! That’s My Hummus“) came and stole Ree away because she had the very important task of delivering the Country Outfitter keynote speech to our conference.

And just to show you how dadgum delightful Ree is, here’s a video…
Thanks again, Ree for taking the time to spend with us. We loved seeing you and hope to do it again soon.

@evolvedmommy @thepioneerwoman It’s dirty in a sexy, buttery type way. #noncon
Now that’s cool, Stephanie! You all look so pretty! I got to meet Ree once at a book signing, and I thought she was so gracious!
