Walton Arts Center Holiday Preview + A Giveaway
THIS GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED
Do you like to pretend you live in NYC? No? Because I do.
And you know what you do in NYC during the holidays?
You put on your prettiest holiday dress, that fancy fur (faux for my PETA friends) from the Jr. League silent auction when you had too much wine, and you go to the theater.
We may not live near Broadway, but we do live near the intersection of Dickson & West where there is plenty of parking and one fine theater known as Walton Arts Center.
Make plans now for a special night out with your best friend or a fancy date night with your holiday honey.

I loved STOMP. Im heading to Billy Elliot on opening night and looking forward to Potted Potter. And, hoping to see Cathc Me If You Can; it’s a favorite movie of mine also. When I was little I use to dream about being on Broadway. Now, I just live through those good enough to make it and brave enough to try.
It really was a great movie! In lieu of all of the requirements you could share it out.
I took my 9 y/o granddaughter on a ‘big girls’ date last night. We went to Emelia’s Kitchen for dinner and then to WAC to see Cantus and Latte da theater’s All is Calm. We had a wonderful time and decided that a WAC date night is going to be our new kick off the holiday season tradition.
The theater (especially during the holidays) is soul enriching. You will treasure that new tradition.
Because I already subscribe to your newsletter, it wouldn’t let me enter that way, so I’m doing it this way! I also like the WAC on FB and follow on Twitter. I also like and follow you on FB and Twitter! I also REALLY like you in real life as well.

The last show I saw at WAC was Shrek – it was great – as always!
Leroy was just telling me that he’d like to see a show
I follow you and Walton Arts Center on Fb and Twitter! The last show I saw was one of the best ones, How to Succeed in Business without really trying, with Daniel Radcliffe. It was hilarious!
I didn’t see that one, but I heard so much about it.

Wish we could have seen Billy Elliot but my kids were all in Ballet Arkansas’ Nutcracker (my favorite production I must say!) My daughter wants me to take her to NYC to see some shows for her 16th in March!
That sounds like a magical 16th!
The most recent production I saw was Plan 9 From Outer Space at the Arts Live Theater in Fayetteville. I follow Walton Arts Center on FB now!
.
We have seen a few shows there over the last couple years (Stomp!, Les Miserables, Steve Martin, Young Frankenstein, The Drowsy Chaperone) and we have loved them all!
Favorite Christmas production: The Rockettes! I got to see them a few years back!
Favorite Theater production (of all time): Le Mis!
We saw Le Mis, too! Really, that’s probably my favorite we’ve seen there.
Also just “liked” WAC on fb!
