Have I mentioned lately that my friends do some really awesome things? Or that the tech community where I live is thriving, especially e-commerce?

It seems like everybody has a blog or website these days, so it was no surprise when my friend Kyle told me over coffee the other day that his sister has just launched a website.

“She’s using her contacts from our family’s jewelry business in south Arkansas.”

“That’s great,” I’m sure was my response.

Then it hit me.

“Wait a minute. So she sells fancy things, like real jewelry?”

A few days later I met Kyle’s sister Heather in person at Lela’s book launch party, where she gave away a beautiful bracelet with real diamonds to one lucky guest at the party. So, naturally, now I stalk her.
