A couple weeks ago I selected my One Little Word for 2013 and made plans to weave it into various areas of my life with each month bringing a new specific focus . Kind of at the last minute, and on a whim, I decided to start January by applying my OLW (One Little Word), which happens to be “Delight” to exercise.
You have just a few more days to eat like a fool and then it’s New Years resolution time! I know. I get it.
Why not make it fun this year with a new fitness tracker like a FitBit, Jawbone or Scosche? These little devices have kept me moving for the past month and I’ve dropped 10+ pounds already.
This is the year that you’re going to get in better shape! One way to stay motivated is by wearing a Fitbit to track your steps, stairs and sleep. This little gadget can be worn on your waistband or bra and is compatible with the myfitnesspal, Lose It! and other apps. You’ll find yourself looking for stairs to climb and parking further and further away from your favorite places just to add more steps.
The MotoACTV tracks your route via GPS, calories, exercise activities (even my beloved elliptical) and plays music. You can either wear it on your wrist or use the clip to attach it to your waistband.

I did it!!!
I met my goal to complete 30 thirty-minute workouts in thirty days.
Where do I go from here? Who knows, but I went to the gym this morning and I’m going tomorrow morning.
Perhaps this will turn into a habit.
This morning I kick-started my first full day at Blissdom with a bun-kicking Pilates Barre class led by guru Suzanne Bowen.
Suzanne is the creator of Barre Amped, which apparently does UH-MAZE-ING things for a booty.
