The Girl Who Would Be King | Netflix #StreamTeam - Evolved Mommy
My daughter loves to sing. LOVES. TO. SING!
She builds stages out of couch cushions, turns everything into a microphone and even makes up a new song for bedtime almost every night. So it’s not surprising that when I asked her if she wanted to watch a movie that she could sing along to, she was ecstatic!
So we fired up Netflix and found Mulan. Basically, it’s a movie about a girl that secretly takes her father’s place in battle when he’s not able. (I know, there’s a lot there to talk about, but this is about a four and a half year old singing and dancing.)
It’s also not surprising that she wants to watch it over and over again, which is not as annoying as you’d think because she can easily navigate Netflix by herself on her iPad. Obviously, we don’t just turn her loose with the iPad, but it is nice to know that when we log her in using her unique profile on our account she’s in a safe controlled (age appropriate) environment.
This post is part of the Netflix StreamTeam campaign. The snuggles and warm fuzzies are ours.
