Fitness trackers are not the most stylish things ever. In fact, one of the biggest selling features when I initially landed on FitBit was the fact that I could clip it to my bra.
Remember the BodyBugg? Gah! So gauche. All the Biggest Loser contestants were wearing them and then I started seeing them on arms all across town.
It was like wearing a giant sign on your upper arm that said, “HEY! Guess what? I have weight issues and I’m using this thing to advertise my problems to the world… in case you hadn’t already noticed that I have weight issues.”
Innovation and design has definitely improved over the past few years, but we’re still looking at lots of company’s pushing fitness tracker bracelets. For one, these bracelets are really uncomfortable when you type on a keyboard all day, not to mention that they are all super sporty looking. I don’t know about you, but my daily work attire is not athletic wear.
Well… GOOD NEWS! Our favorite designer Tory Burch is launching a line of FitBit Flex accessories this spring. There is no date of availability given yet, but you can sign up to be the first notified when they hit the market.
My FitBit One has had it, and it’s time for a new one, but I’m holding out until the Tory Burch accessories hit the market to make sure I have the right gadget.
Evolved Mommy is about tech and gadgets as the relate to family life. We talk about Apple products like iPads, iPhones and pretty cases for iPads and iPhones. We talk about gadgets for the home like Nest thermostats and Roombas. We talk about nonsense and life in Northwest Arkansas. Whatever.
