Have I mentioned lately that my friends do some really awesome things? Or that the tech community where I live is thriving, especially e-commerce?
It seems like everybody has a blog or website these days, so it was no surprise when my friend Kyle told me over coffee the other day that his sister has just launched a website.
“She’s using her contacts from our family’s jewelry business in south Arkansas.”
“That’s great,” I’m sure was my response.
Then it hit me.
“Wait a minute. So she sells fancy things, like real jewelry?”
A few days later I met Kyle’s sister Heather in person at Lela’s book launch party, where she gave away a beautiful bracelet with real diamonds to one lucky guest at the party. So, naturally, now I stalk her.
That’s me handing one very gorgeous bracelet to its new owner at Lela’s book launch for “Who Peed on My Yoga Mat”
I adore diamonds. They make me feel so fancy and sparkly. And what better occasion for diamonds than Valentine’s day? Keep reading. There’s a giveaway at the end.
So let me introduce you to MyDiamondObsession.com where Heather curates beautiful collections and sells them at prices she has negotiated with her vendors. Apparently, you can’t just jump into the jewelry business. It’s about trust and relationships. Or really high prices. Because Heather has worked for the family operation for years she’s got great connections, thus fabulous prices. Yippy!
Heather knows what we’re looking for, and suggested some great gift options. Fellas pay attention here.
Evolved Mommy is about tech and gadgets as the relate to family life. We talk about Apple products like iPads, iPhones and pretty cases for iPads and iPhones. We talk about gadgets for the home like Nest thermostats and Roombas. We talk about nonsense and life in Northwest Arkansas. Whatever.
